Jefferson County Alabama Consolidated 9-1-1Center

“Excellence in Emergency Communications through Dedication and Pride”

Welcome to the Jefferson County, Alabama 9-1-1 website. We are dedicated to providing you with the professional and efficient service that you deserve.

We are the largest fully consolidated 9-1-1/Dispatch Center in Alabama.  We provide 9-1-1 call processing and dispatch services for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, 19 cities and towns, and 29 fire departments. Full consolidation provides many advantages over individual operations including elimination of duplicate services, improved operational efficiency, better interagency information sharing, and overall cost savings.

We are continually evaluating our operations and looking for ways to improve our service delivery.
